Tracy Rediger, Main Street Blackshear's Chairman, shared the organizations plans for this year?s ?E.L Craven?s Haunted Parlor." The proceeds are used toward improving our downtown area and used to further the general welfare and prosperity of the citizens, businesses, industries, cultural and educational programs of and around Blackshear. E.L. Craven?s Haunted Funeral Parlor is state wide, award winning for the most creative fund raising event. They are branded regionally and have thousands from surrounding counties visit each year. Their volunteers are screened and trained on the rules and guidelines. They put in an enormous amount of time and energy into preparing for and running the event. Make-up and set preparation begins 5 hours prior to opening EACH night. E.L Craven?s Haunted Parlor will open Friday and Saturday nights from September 30th thru October 31st, from 7-11pm and is located at 221 Main Street where everyone is "Dying To Get In."
